A supplementary affidavit filed today by the applicant is taken on record. The counsel for the applicant has brought the attention of this Court to Clause 3.1 (viii) to state that the pension and allowances to Armed Forces and Defence Civilian Pensioners residing in Nepal are paid by the Military and Air Attache, Indian Embassy, Nepal, Kathmandu, Nepal. Shri Prem Narayan Rai, Advocate representing the opposite party has obtained instructions and has handed over the same to the Court which is taken on record. The instructions disclose that through letter dated 22.4.2025, the Pension Payment Order of the applicant has been sent to the Indian Embassy Nepal by the office of the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pension), Allahabad. As the order passed by the Writ Court has been complied by the opposite party, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application.
