It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners are recorded as bhumidhar with transferable rights on Gata No. 991, 982 and 997 but village Pradhan had intentionally laid under ground pipe on the land of the petitioner for which no acquisition had taken place nor any compensation was paid to petitioners. Ventilating their grievance, petitioners have moved an application on 04.11.2024 before respondent no. 2, which is pending consideration. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 2. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to decide the application moved by petitioners on 04.11.2024, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 3. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 4. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
