ORAL ORDER
1. The sister of the detenu is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; a. To direct the R2 that petitioners brother convict namely Venkataraj Alias Venkatarajappa S/O Laxamma (CTP-4573) lodged in central prison, belagavi may be enlarged/ released or grant parole for a period of 90 days to take care and getting done the proper medical treatment to the petitioner in the interest of justice and equity.
b. Pass such other order/s which this court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice.
2. A perusal of the custody certificate indicates that the detenu has been incarcerated only for a period of 7 months 24 days after being convicted.
3. In that view of the matter, I am of the considered opinion that this is not a fit case for now to consider the application for parole. The petition stands dismissed. SD/- (SURAJ GOVINDARAJ) JUDGE
