1. This criminal petition is filed under section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 [for short ‘B.N.S.S.’] seeking to quash the order dated 30.12.2024 in CrI.M.P. No.83 of 2024 in CrI.A. No.142 of 2024 passed by the III Additional District & Sessions Judge, Nellore. -2- CRLP. No.2112of2025
2. The learned Sessions judge, while suspending the sentence of imprisonment in C.C. No.2379 of 2019, imposed the condition of depositing 20% of the compensation amount within two months from the date of
order before the II Additional Judicial Magistrate of I Class, Nellore.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner appearing virtually online submits that without passing a reasoned order, the learned Sessions Judge could not have imposed such onerous conditions. The learned counsel for the petitioner requests further time to comply with the directions of the learned Sessions Judge.
4. Considering the same, the time granted in CrI.M.P. No.83 of 2024 in CrI.A. No.142 of 2024 on the file of the learned III Additional District & Sessions Judge, Nellore, for a deposit of 20% of the compensation stands extended till
31.03.2025.
5. With these observations, the criminal petition is disposed off.
6. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
