The instant writ petition has been filed, seeking a writ of mandamus, commanding respondent no.2/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Moradabad to decide the demarcation application dated 13.10.2024 of the gata no.578 (Unique Code No.1151:5-0578-000012) (Computerized Case No.T202413540118094), situated at village Mugalpur @ Agwanpur, Tehsil and District Moradabad, within the stipulated time. 3. Counsel for the petitioner states that the demarcation proceeding initiated at the instance of the petitioner is pending before respondent no.2 since 13.10.2024. He also submitted that in view of the provisions contained under Section 24(3) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, the proceeding is to be concluded within 3 months. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no.2 to decide the aforesaid proceedings to its logical conclusion, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 2 months, from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, in accordance with law.
