The instant application has been filed under Sections 483 & 484 of the BNSS, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in connection with RC Case No. 01 of 2025 registered for the offence under Section 7 (as amended in 2018) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 now pending in the Court of learned Spl. Judge CBI, Ranchi. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. 3. Further submission has been made that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and he is languishing in judicial custody since 04.02.2025 and the charge-sheet has already been submitted in a case of alleged acceptance of illegal amount of Rs. 3000. 2025:JHHC:12421 4. While on the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the CBI has vehemently opposed the prayer. 5. This Court has heard the learned counsel for the parties. 6. This Court, taking into consideration the aforesaid fact that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 04.02.2025 and there are no criminal antecedents as also the charge-sheet has already been submitted, therefore, is of the view that the instant bail application needs to be allowed. 7. Accordingly, the instant bail application stands allowed. 8. In consequence thereof, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing the bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Spl. Judge CBI, Ranchi in connection with RC Case No. 01 of 2025 subject to the condition that the petitioner shall co-operate in the trial, failing which, the learned trial Court is liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
