Ms. Mamta Bisht, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Narayan Dutt, Standing Counsel for the State. The petitioner is a teacher, who is working in Government Girls Inter College, Chorgaliya, District Nainital. Prior to 2013, it was classified as remote area, but after the year 2013, there was a different system of marking of places as ‘X’ and ‘Y’. It was also not given to the petitioner, and when in the year 2017, new Act came, it was again classified as accessible area. The identification of places is wrongly done. The marks have not been correctly given. All the teachers and the principal have given representation on 29.04.2025, which is Annexure No.5 to the writ petition, but no decision has been taken on it. Heard. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all the teachers, through the Principal have submitted a representation on 29.04.2025, Annexure No.5 to the writ petition. She referred to Annexure No.2 in an attempt to demonstrate that the identification has not been properly done. She seeks directions that the representation dated 29.04.2025, Annexure No.5, may be decided within a stipulated time. Learned State Counsel submits that the representation dated 29.04.2025, Annexure No.5 to the writ petition, will be decided by the respondents-authority,
within a period of eight weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel. The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents-authority to decide the representation dated 29.04.2025, which is Annexure No.5 to the writ petition, within a period of eight weeks from today, in accordance with law.
