VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE) 1. The petitioner has filed the present petition inter alia praying as under: (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to the respondent to remove all illegal or un- authorised advertisements which are advertised in the premises of the 2nd respondent. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to collect the arrears of tax, fee and ground rent as per the BBMP signage and public messaging bye-law 2018 and putting up a penalty as per the prevalent laws. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36599-DB WP No. 2044 of 2022 (iii) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No.2 to take a legal action against those illegal or Un-authorised advertisers and also the space providers for the advertisement in accordance with law. (iv) Pass any other orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The prayers made in the present petition are similar to those made in Writ Petition No.57990/2017(LB-BMP-PIL). The said writ petition and Writ Petition No.19234/2024(LB-RES) have been disposed of in view of framing of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (Advertisement) Bye-laws, 2024, which have since been notified. 3. Concededly, the implementation of the Bye-law No.15 of the said Bye-laws would address the reliefs sought for by the petitioner in the present petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the BBMP made a statement that the said Bye-law would be duly implemented. 5. In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed in the present petition.
