Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. By way of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in peaceful life of petitioners, has been sought. 3. It is the categorical statement available in pleadings of the petition that both the petitioners are living separately and learned counsel for petitioners has submitted that petitioner no. 1 has been called by her mother and thereafter she has been kept locked inside the house of her parents. 4. It is apparent from the pleadings available in the records that both the petitioners are residing separately and as such protection to the couple cannot be exceeded. 5. In view of the above, the present petition stands dismissed. 6. However, the petitioner no. 2 will be at liberty to avail all the other legal remedies available at law.
