JUSTICE SUSMITA PHUKAN KHAUND ORDER 28.03.2025 Heard learned counsel, Mr U U Khan, for the petitioner, Guljar Hussain, who has filed this application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with prayer for pre-arrest bail, as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Abhayapuri PS Case No. 28/2025, registered under Sections 61(2)/305(a)/112 of the Page No.# 2/2 BNS, 2023. 2. Heard Mr D P Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent State. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he has committed theft of cattle 4. I have scrutinized the Case Diary. 5. I have also considered the submissions at the Bar. 6. It appears that pre-arrest bail may be granted to the petitioner. In the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) with a suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority under the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within one week and cooperate with the investigation, failing which, bail granted to the petitioner, shall automatically stand cancelled. 9.
