The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the set of representation of the petitioner dated 19.05.2025 vide Annexure 'B'. 2. Brief facts leading rise to the filing of this writ petition are as follows: 3. The petitioner has retired from the service of the respondents-Corporation, who was relieved from service on attaining the age of Superannuation. The petitioner has rendered full and continuous years of service before his retirement, and the increment for the said period has not been sanctioned. He - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:51886 WP No. 17369 of 2025 submitted a representation requesting for sanction of his annual increment for the last year of service rendered by him and also brought to the notice of the respondents the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.10703 of 2024 and connected matters disposed of on 21.02.2025, which was confirmed by the Division Bench of this Court in Writ Appeal Nos.634 of 2025 and 636 of 2025 dismissed on 16.10.2025. 5. Respondent No.2 has not passed any order on the representation submitted by the petitioner. Hence this writ petition. 6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents. 7. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that, if a reasonable time is granted, respondent No.2 would consider the representation at Annexure 'B' and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:51886 WP No. 17369 of 2025 8. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondents, I proceed to pass the following: ORDER (i) The writ petition is allowed.
