P. -------- 02/ Dated 09.04.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 107 of 2024, corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No.28 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 317(5)/3(5) of B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 21(b)/22(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of Sri Niraj Kumar Srivastav, learned Special Judge, under N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau. On 30.10.2024 at about 4:30 p.m., Daltonganj Town police apprehended the co-accused from a place behind Shiv Mandir. On search, 20 grams of brown sugar were recovered from his possession. It was submitted that petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that co-accused Prashant Pandey has been granted bail by this Court earlier in B.A. No.838/2025. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Niraj Kumar Srivastav, learned Special Judge, under N.D.P.S.
