THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ORDERS THROUGH VIDEO CONFERENCING / PHYSICAL HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.I.ARUN ORAL ORDER Respondent No.2 has granted a layout plan approval for development of a single residential dwelling unit (vide Annexure-D to the writ petition) in favour of one Smt.H.N.Shyla. Subsequently, it is submitted that the petitioners have purchased the same from the said Smt.H.N.Shyla. Thereafter, without assigning any reason and without hearing the petitioners, the said approval has been cancelled by merely making an endorsement to that effect on the approval (vide Annexure-D to the writ petition). Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36121 WP No. 17054 of 2024 2. The case of the petitioners is that they have not violated any law which warrants cancellation of the approval and if an opportunity for a hearing is given, they would substantiate the same. It is submitted that the approval has been withdrawn without following the known principles of natural justice. 3. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 is not in a position to contravene the aforementioned submission of the petitioners. 4. For the reasons that the approval granted (vide Annexure-D to the writ petition) has been withdrawn without notice to the petitioners and without assigning any valid reasons, the same deserves to be set aside. 5. Hence, I proceed to pass the following: ORDER i. The Writ Petition is hereby disposed of. ii. The impugned endorsement by which the approval granted to the single - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:36121 WP No. 17054 of 2024 dwelling unit has been cancelled (vide Annexure-D to the writ petition) is hereby set aside. iii.
