Case No. 54 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 22 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 21(C) and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau, Daltonganj. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 10423 of 2024 by order dated 11.12.2024. 4. On 26.08.2024, the petitioner was apprehended by Tarhasi Police and on search, 19 bottles of cough syrups were recovered from his shop. The confession of the petitioner has led to recovery of 42 bottles of cough syrups from the house of one Shahid Afroj. 5. The quantum of seized cough syrup comes within the purview of commercial quantity. 6. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that out of ten witnesses, the prosecution has examined only four witnesses. It was further submitted that the seizure witnesses have not supported the prosecution case. 7. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. 8. The learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Nandini/- Uploaded
