No.618 of 2025. 2.The defacto-complainant is present before this Court. The case arises out of matrimonial discard. The accused was tried for the offence under Sections 498 (A) and 323 I.P.C., in Cr.No217 of 2011. It is stated that the accused is mentally ill and the complainant does not want to pursue the case. In view of the extraordinary mode in which this designated bench conducts hybrid hearings, the filing of written affidavits/terms of compromise is dispensed with. 4.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.208 of 2011 of Judicial Magistrate Court, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram, stands quashed.
