Petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 34 of 2023(A) arising out of Khunti P.S. Case No. 58 of 2023 for the offences registered under sections 15(c) / 25/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Khunti. 3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide B.A. No. 10889 of 2024 by order dated 03.01.2025. 4. On 01.05.2023, Khunti Police on the basis of confidential information intercepted a truck bearing registration no. WB-19K-4524 from a place near Barbanda Forest and seized 870 kgs. of Poppy Husk. Petitioner is the owner of the seized truck. 5. It was submitted that the driver and Khalashi of the truck have been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected, at this stage.
