This writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "a) To issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to record the name of the petitioners over the plot no. 605 area 1.5710 Hectare situated in Mauja Rampurpatari, Pargana-Sadiyabad, Tehsil-Jakhaniya, District-Ghazipur." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners being landless labourers were granted lease wayback in the year 1985 and the names of the petitioners have not been recorded in the revenue records. 3. Petitioners have approached this Court after lapse of 40 years. No explanation for the delay has been given for approaching this Court at such a belated stage. 4. No case for interference is made out. 5. Writ petition is misconceived and it stands dismissed.
