CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 20-01-2025 Heard Mr. Vijay Kumar Sinha along with Mr. Arvind Srivastav, Mr. Krishna Murari Prasad and Mr. Kumar Shivam Sinha, learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Anirban Kundu, learned SC 24 for the State.
2. Petitioner has inter alia prayed for following reliefs in the paragraphs No.1 of the writ petition:-
“That this writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs/order/orders commanding/directing the respondents (1st set) to appoint the petitioner on the post of Shiksha Sevak
Patna High Court CWJC No.471 of 2025(2) dt.20-01-2025 2/2 (Education Servant) after quashing the final merit list of Utkramit Middle School, Madhopur (the Annexure- 5 of the petition).”

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that petitioner has filed representation before District Programee Officer (Literacy), Patna on 27.09.2023 in view of the merit list contained in Annexure 5 dated 16.10.2023 but the relief as prayed for in the present writ petition has not been granted to the petitioner.
4. Considering the aforesaid submission and information contained in Annexure, 5, the authority concerned is directed to forthwith take action in respect of the relief as prayed for the in present writ petition in view of the merit list prepared, by passing a reasoned order, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this
order.
5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
