ORDER 02-01-2025
1. Mr. T.M. Shamsi, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India, submits that GSTIN issued in favour of the petitioner is still active pursuant to the directions of this Court. However, it is not forthcoming either from the response filed by the respondents as also from the communication produced by Mr. Shamsi, as to what is the status of the proceedings initiated for cancellation the GSTIN of the petitioner.
2. This petition has been pending adjudication before this Court for the last more than two years.
3. In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition by directing the respondent no.4 to conclude the cancellation proceedings after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, if the same are still pending against the petitioner. Till then, the order of the suspension shall remain in abeyance.
4. Disposed of in the above terms. ;
