2025:JHHC:10006 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 2544 of 2025 Kundan Prasad Gupta, aged about 30 years, son of Bijli Saw, resident of village- Andharibag, P.O. and P.S.- Pipra, District- Palamau. … Petitioner - Versus - The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. A. K. Chaturvedy, Advocate For the State : Mr. Naveen Kr. Gaunjhu, A.P.P. --- 02/02.04.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 15 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar. On 24.01.2024, informant was going to Latehar on his Bolero along with his friend Ravi Soni. When they reached near Saryu Ghati, seven persons intercepted the vehicle and looted cash and other articles from them. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner was identified in the T.I.Parade. It was further submitted that some of the looted money was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
