The case of the petitioner is that she had given a complaint to the second respondent on 23.09.2023 with regard to theft of 34 ¾ sovereigns of jewels in her house. On the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.670 of 2023 for the offences under sections 380 and 457 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the First Information Report has been registered, there is no progress in investigation.
