The instant petition has been filed for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents alleging that the order (interim order) was passed on 30.05.2023 (Annexure P-1) in CWP-12128-2023, has not been obeyed in letter and spirit, the an advertisement has been issued to fill-up the posts of Assistants on deputation basis. 2. As per the aforesaid order dated 30.05.2023, interim order was passed in the same terms as in CWP-10344-2023. In CWP-10344- 2023, vide order dated 12.05.2023, while issuing notice of motion, interim order was passed to the effect that no further steps be taken with regard to filling up posts of Accountant advertised vide impugned advertisement. 3. Reply already filed on behalf of the sole respondent is taken on record. Registry to tag the same at appropriate place. Learned Senior counsel appearing for the respondent has informed that the main petition bearing CWP-12128-2023 has been disposed of as having been rendered infructuous vide order dated 25.07.2024, passed in a batch of petitions, the lead case being CWP- 4562-2023. The order reads as under:- “Learned counsel for the respondent/University contends that the impugned advertisement nos. 201/2023 to 246/2023 dated 01.02.2023, for different non-teaching posts in the University have been withdrawn vide employment notice uploaded on the website of the University. 2. In view, thereof, the petitions stand disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.” 6. In view of the above, the interim order dated 30.05.2023 (Annexure P-1) has merged in the main order passed in the aforesaid writ petitions. 7. In view of the above, present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. 8. Rule stands discharged. 9.
