The petitioner has sought for issuance of writ of mandamus to effect mutation in respect of land bearing Sy.No.117/8 by considering the representation dated
25.02.2025. 2. The representation at Annexure-G is to the effect that petitioner's father had purchased the property by way of absolute sale deed dated 13.05.1949 and subsequent to his death on 20.08.1984, the revenue records were changed in the name of mother of the petitioner. - 3 -

3. It is further submitted that during the lifetime of petitioner's mother, a family settlement has been entered into and on the basis of which there has been division of the property. By placing reliance on the said family settlement, request was made to effect katha as per Annexure-G. It is stated that till date, no steps have been taken by the second respondent authority. 4. In light of limited prayer sought, learned Additional Government Advocate submits that they would consider the representation of the petitioner as is permissible in law. 5.
Taking note of the said stand that request as per Annexure-G would be considered as per law, petitioner to comply with all procedural requirements including '11E sketch' if so required as per settled procedure. Respondents to take appropriate decision on Annexure-G expeditiously while recording that petitioner is to comply with the requirements, to make clarification and furnish
