The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bodam P.S. Case No. 39 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 109(1), 3(5) & 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 27(2) of the Arms Act, 1959, pending in the court of Sri Pawan Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Jamshedpur. On 06.12.2024 at about 3:00 p.m., the informant was shot near Alkatra factory, Dimna Chowk, Jamshedpur. Petitioner and co-accused persons were seen overtaking the informant at the place of occurrence. It was submitted that the informant had not seen who was shot him. Learned A.P.P. on behalf of the State submitted that there is strong suspicion against the petitioner. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Pawan Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Jamshedpur, or his successor, in connection with Bodam P.S.
