NATARAJ ORAL ORDER The petitioners have sought for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to approve layout plan for formation of residential layout in Sy.No.226/1, 228/1 and 229/1, totally measuring 7 acres 18 guntas situate at Kaggalipura village, Uttarahalli Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk. 2. (i) The petitioners contend that they are the owners of the land in Sy.Nos.226/1, 228/1 and 229/1 totally measuring 7 acres 18 guntas situate at Kaggalipura village, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:54412 WP No. 35588 of 2025 Uttarahalli Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk and that the same was converted for non-agricultural residential use on 29.05.2024. They claim that they had filed application on 05.09.2024 for sanction of a layout plan and that the same was placed before the 93rd Meeting of the Planning Authority. The Committee had approved the layout plan submitted by the petitioners. The Committee directed the respondent No.3 to issue approved plan subject to fulfillment of certain conditions imposed by it. The petitioners thereafter submitted a representation dated 21.08.2025 requesting the respondent No.3 to process the file and issue sanction plan. Thereafter, another representation was made before the respondent Nos.2 and 3 on 10.09.2025. The petitioners contend that despite the above, the respondent No.3 has failed to take any further steps. (ii) The petitioners are therefore, before this Court seeking for a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider their representations and sanction the plan. 3. The learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3 submits that if the petitioners submit six blue prints of the layout as per the letter dated 24.06.2025 at Annexure-E, steps would be taken to approve the plan. 5. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3, this writ petition stands disposed off directing the petitioners to furnish six blue prints of the layout plan to the respondent No.3.
