(ORAL) The petitioner-wife, by way of present application/petition, seeks transfer of petition bearing HMA/223/2025, titled “Vicky Versus Manpreet Kaur” filed under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, at the instance of respondent-husband; from the learned Family Court, Amritsar, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Jalandhar. [2] At the outset, learned counsel for the applicant-petitioner informs that the aforesaid petition bearing HMA/223/2025 filed at the instance of respondent-husband has been dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 10.08.2026 by the learned Family Court. He thus does not press the present Transfer Application at this stage; however, seeks liberty to revive the present Transfer Application in case the aforesaid petition under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, is restored. [3] Dismissed as not pressed, with liberty as prayed for. [4] Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed off.
