No.618 of 2025. 2.The case arises out of matrimonial discard. The accused was tried for the offence under Sections 498 (A), 506 (ii) I.P.C., and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Cr.No.05 of 2005 dated 04.02.2005. There is no likelihood of any meaningful trial being conducted in future and it will impinge upon the right to speedy trial of the accused. 4.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.44 of 2020 of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Vikravandi, Vikravandi Taluk, Villupuram, stands quashed.
