CONT.CAS(C) 174/2025 2. The petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against MCD, alleging non compliance with orders dated 31.07.2008 and 23.12.2024. At the same time, petitioner also seeks directions to the MCD to comply with orders dated 31.07.2008 and 23.12.2024 in letter and spirit. It is clear that petitioner himself was not certain about the contempt alleged against MCD, so made an alternate prayer also. The proceedings in which orders dated 23.12.2024 were passed are still pending and listed on 03.03.2025. The direction dated 23.12.2024, contempt whereof has been alleged was a direction to the MCD to file affidavit disclosing date wise payments made to the present petitioners.
