This criminal petition, under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, is filed by the petitioner-accused No. 2 seeking to release him on bail in the event of arrest in crime No. 25 of 2025 of Prohibition and Excise Station, Hindupur, Sri Satyasai District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 7 (B) read with Section 8 (B) (C) of A.P. Prohibition Act, 1995. 3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner-accused No. 2 appearing through virtual mode would submit that during pendency of the present criminal petition, the petitioner-accused No. 2 has been arrested and enlarged on bail and that therefore the present criminal petition has become infructuous. 2 4.
