GP FOR HOME (AP) 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 6082 of 2020 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue any writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 2 to 4 in summoning the petitioner to police station to obtain finger prints, photos and ID cards for the purpose of opening of suspect sheet as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents not to take any steps to open suspect sheets against the petitioner holding that the said acts of the respondents are in violation of the fundamental rights guaranteed to me under Article 20 and 21 of the Constitution of India.…” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, by way of counter affidavit, would submit that the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, rowdy sheet was opened against the Petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that no cases are pending against the Petitioner. 3 5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is allowed and the rowdy sheet, against the petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
