The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 23/2024 arising out of Namkum (Kharshidag) P.S. Case No. 50/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 15(c), 18(B), 22(c), 25 & 29 of the N.D.P.S.Act, subsequently charge has been framed under Sections15(c), 25 & 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-XVII, Ranchi. 3. On 04.02.2024, Namkum (Kharshidag) police, on the basis of confidential informant, intercepted a Trailer bearing registration no. RJ07GC-5769 and apprehended this petitioner alongwith co-accused Ramgopal. On search, 1800 kgs. of poppy husk was recovered from the said vehicle. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is son of co-accused Ramgopal. It was further submitted that the petitioner is of tender age, aged about 20 years. It was also submitted that the petitioner is in custody for last one year. 5. Considering the fact that commercial quantity of poppy husk was recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and co-accused, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
