The petitioners through instant petition are seeking direction to respondent No.2 to Senior Superintendent of police, Kapurthala not to harass and call the petitioners again and again in the Police Station. He is further seeking direction to respondent No.2 to Senior Superintendent of police, Kapurthala to consider representation dated 07.08.2025 (Annexure P-3) filed by petitioner. He is further seeking direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct the investigation in a fair and proper manner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the representation was given on 07.08.2025 (Annexure P-3) to official respondents. However, it had failed to yield any response. It has been submitted that the official respondents were under a legal obligation to pass an appropriate order on his complaint. Learned counsel submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if directions are issued to official respondent to look into the representation dated 07.08.2025 (Annexure P- 3) of the petitioners and take appropriate steps in accordance with law. 3. In the wake of the limited prayer of the petitioners, the instant petition is disposed of and official respondents are directed to look into the grievance of the petitioners and take appropriate steps, if any required, under the provisions of law. However, if official respondent does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation dated 07.08.2025 (Annexure P-3), then the petitioners shall be duly informed as per the parameters laid down by the Supreme Court in 2013 (4) RCR (Criminal) 979 ‘Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors’. 6. Pending misc. application (s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
