Heard Mr. R. Islam, the learned counsel for the petitioner and also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of State respondent. Page No.# 2/3

This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, who is apprehending arrest in connection with PRC Case No. 597/2024 arising out of South Salmara Police Station Case No. 31/2024 under Sections 147/148/149/325/326/307/379 of the Indian Penal Code. 3. It is submitted by Mr. Islam, the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is ready and willing to appear before the learned Trial Court below and to face the trial but as the case has already been charge-sheeted showing him as an absconder he has the apprehension of being arrested and hence the present petition has been filed. Mr. Islam further submitted that the case is fixed on 09.04.2025 and on the last occasion, the learned counsel for the petitioner also prayed time for his appearance, which was accordingly allowed by the learned Trial Court below. However, he needs some protection till his appearance before the learned Trial Court. 4. Mr. Borthakur, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted in this regard that the case is fixed on 09.04.2025 and accordingly the petitioner may be directed to appear before the learned Trial Court below with an appropriate application for bail, which may be considered in accordance with law. 5. Considering the entire aspects of the case, the present petitioner is hereby asked to appear before the learned Trial Court below on 09.04.2025 with an appropriate application for regular bail, which may be considered by the learned
