The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Barharwa P.S. Case No. 190 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 103/ 3(5) of the B.N.S., pending in the court of Mr. Ranjay Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Rajmahal. During the intervening night of 28/29.11.2024, son of the informant Utpal Mandal was murdered by co-accused persons Ramnath Mandal, Sahdeo Mandal and Jodhay Mandal. It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name has come in confession of named accused persons. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Mr. Ranjay Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Rajmahal or his successor, in connection with Barharwa P.S.
