Petitioner’s grievance is that respondents till date have not implemented office
order dated 10.07.2024 (Annexure P-4), which grants him annual increment on the next date of his superannuation.

Vide order dated 17.03.2025, passed in this petition, learned counsel for the respondents was directed to have instructions in respect of implementation of the aforesaid office order.
Today, when the matter was taken up, learned counsel for the respondents submitted that sometime be fixed

- 2 - for implementation of the order by the Court and the respondents undertake to implement the aforesaid office
order within that period.

Office order, of which petitioner is seeking implementation, was passed by the respondents on
10.07.2024. As noticed earlier, under this office order, annual increment has been granted to the petitioner for 12 months of service rendered by him preceding the date of his superannuation. Respondents have not implemented their own office order, though almost nine months have elapsed. Petitioner’s representations dated 07.09.2024 and 05.010.2024 [Annexure P-5 (colly)] have gone undecided.

In view of above and taking into consideration the submission made by learned counsel for the respondents, respondents are directed to give effect to their own office
order dated 10.07.2024 (Annexure P-4) within a period of two weeks from today, failing which, petitioner shall be entitled to interest @ 5% per annum on the financial benefits from the due date.

The writ petition stand disposed of in the above terms, so also pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
