The incident occurred on 03.12.2017. The Cellphone, which is stolen, is recovered, but, the de facto complainant is yet to claim the same. The Police can intimate to the de facto complainant to file a petition for return of property and collect the Cellphone. 2. Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.6959 of 2022 of XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore Taluk, Chennai, stands quashed.
