The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representations vide Annexures-C and D. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has submitted representations on 29.08.2024 and are not considered as of today. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 5. The representations are furnished along with the Writ Petition and the same are marked as Annexures-C and D. A perusal of the same would reflect that they are made in - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:46967 WP No. 32418 of 2024 2024, however, the same has not considered as of today. It is significant to note that any representation submitted by a Citizen to the authority concerned, must be given due consideration at the earliest possible opportunity and the authority is obligated to process and decide on it expeditiously. Therefore, I deem it proper to issue a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner on 29.08.2024 vide Annexures-C and D in accordance with the law, if not considered as of today, within four weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. 6. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
