Subsequently, 118(2) of the BNS was included. 2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 23.12.2024, at about 5.30pm, in front of the complainant’s house, A1 to A6 along with other accused beat the complainant and her family members with sticks, hands and legs, which caused bleeding and mute injuries to them. This incident occurred because A1 raided his motor cycle in a speed manner in front of the complainant’s house, as such, quarrel existed between them. 3. Heard. Perused the record. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to a quarrel, a case has been registered against the petitioner. As seen from the record, A3 to A6 were granted Anticipatory Bail by the Trial Court. As such, learned counsel for the petitioner, prays this Court to grant bail to the petitioner herein. 5. On the other hand, learned Public Prosecutor vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail on the ground that one of them i.e., D.Shanthamma sustained grievous injuries. In support of the said contention, learned Public Prosecutor placed a wound certificate which shows that she sustained grievous injuries. 6. Considering the submissions made and on perusal of the material on record, it is alleged against the petitioner herein that they attacked the complainant party with sticks, caused bleeding injury, and threatened them to kill. In light of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner herein. 7. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. _____________________ T. MALLIKARJUNA RAO, J 21.03.2025 TJN HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE T.
