For Petitioner : Mr.P.Chandra Sekar For Respondent : Mr.L.Baskaran Government Advocate (Crl.side) O R D E R The petitioner was arrested on 07.08.2025 on the complaint given by a 19 years old lady, alleging that the petitioner enticed her into having sexual intercourse on the promise of marriage and later administered drugs and drinks to 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.23613 of 2025 her. When she refused, the petitioner allegedly threatened her and circulated the obscene photos of her in social media. Hence, the case has been registered for the offence punishable under Sections 69, 79, 351(3) of BNS, 2023 read with 67 of I.T.Act read with Section 4 of TNPWH Act. 2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the defacto complainant had consensual sexual relationship with the petitioner and both of them parted ways. It is his case that the complainant has been lodged only to extract money from the petitioner. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner's cell phone has been seized and it has been found that he circulated obscene photos of the defacto complainant in the social media. He further submitted that the investigation is at nascent stage. 4. Considering the above fact, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
