The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of the private respondents.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that the statement of the petitioner has been recorded by ASI Surinder Singh, as per which she does not require any security as on date.
3. In view of the statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court. The present petition stands disposed of.
