When this case was taken up for consideration, a preliminary objection has been taken by learned Senior Counsel for the respondent-Board with regard to the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that the writ petition has been filed through an Association and the relief being claimed for is that the amount as 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:6412 is mentioned in the prayer clause be refunded to the members of the petitioner-Association. Learned Senior Counsel has further submitted that in such like situation, let each member approach the Court separately pleading its facts so that the same can be responded by the Electricity Board and a joint petition may not be maintainable. 3. Having carefully gone through the contents of the writ petition as also the relief clause, this Court concurs with the submissions made by learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondents and accordingly, as prayed for, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the members of the petitioner-Association that if they are so advised, they may approach the Court individually to espouse their cause.
