01. The only grievance which has been projected by the petitioner in the instant petition is that the land in question is required to be demarcated so that the issue vis-à-vis the release of compensation is redressed.
02. Mr. Ilyas Nazir Laway, learned Government Advocate fairly submit that the instant petition can be
disposed of by directing the respondent No. 4-Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, to constitute a team of revenue officers to carry out the demarcation of the land in question within some reasonable time, to which the learned counsel for the petitioner is not averse and accordingly, submits that pursuant to demarcation if it is found that the land of
petitioner has been acquired, then the requisite compensation be paid to the petitioner.
03. Heard the learned counsel for the parties at length and perused the material on record.

With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the instant writ petition is taken up for disposal at this stage and is accordingly disposed of with the direction to the respondent No.4-Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, to carry out the demarcation of the land in question by constituting a team of revenue officers within a period of four weeks from today and upon demarcation, if it is found that the land of the petitioners needs to be acquired, then the same shall be acquired strictly in accordance with the law and if it is found that the land in question has already been acquired for the purpose of acquisition, then the compensation in terms of rules in vogue, be paid to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks thereafter.
05. Writ petition disposed of along with connected CM(s) in the manner indicated above.
