This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "I. a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the Appeal No. 1883 of 2023, Computerized Case No. C202302000001883 (Shanti Devi Versus Krishna Bihari Singh and others), Under section 24 (4) of U.P. Revenue Code 2006, filed by respondent no. 3, expeditiously, within an stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that an appeal under Section 24(4) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, is pending consideration before the revenue authorities. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction to the respondent no. 2- Additional Commissioner First, Prayagraj Mandal, Prayagraj, to decide the Appeal No. 1883 of 2023, Computerized Case No. C202302000001883 (Shanti Devi Versus Krishna Bihari Singh and others) under Section 24(4) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4.
