ORDER:
This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner herein/Accused, seeking regular bail, in Crime No. 09 of 2025 of Mahila U.P.S., Anantapur, Ananthapuram District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 82(1), 318(3), 318(4), 69 of BNS.
2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, the defacto complainant was working as Telecoller in Suzuki Show room and the accused was working as Accountant in Kalinga Shopping Mall, Ananthapuramu, the accused developed acquaintance with the complainant under the guise of love, took her to Vijayawada saying deceitful words and married her in Kanakadurga Temple suppressing his earlier marriage and having children, later when the complainant conceived, the accused abused, beat her and threatened to get abortion of her pregnancy and only for the sake of his sexual lust he married the complainant. Basing on the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. Perused the material on record.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that only to extort money, this false case has been alleged against the petitioner. By this time, the crucial part of the investigation might have completed. It is alleged against

the petitioner that he contracted 2nd marriage to the defacto complainant, it has no substance at all. Learned Counsel would further submit that he is ready to furnish the sureties to the satisfaction of the Court. Accordingly, prays to release the petitioner on regular bail.
5. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor vehemently opposed the petition and would submit that the charge sheet is filed in this matter and the matter is coming up for P.R.C for committal. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor finally prays for dismissal of the petition.

Considering the submissions made and a fair look at the material on record, in the light of the nature of the case and the allegations made against the petitioner and also the fact that matter is coming up for committal of the case to the sessions, this is not a stage to consider the bail application of the petitioner. Accordingly, the petition deserves dismissal.
7. In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
