It is the case of the petitioner that she and the respondent no.5, Navneet Singh Rawat, were married on 25.01.2023, but their marriage is not being registered by the respondent no.2, The Registrar Marriage Registration, SDM, Dehradun. The petitioner has also given an application, which is Annexure No.4 to the writ petition, but no decision has been taken on it. Learned State Counsel submits that the application given by the petitioner, which is Annexure No.4 to the writ petition, shall be decided shortly within a period of four weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel. The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.2, The Registrar Marriage Registration, SDM Dehradun, to decide the application of the petitioner, which is Annexure No.4 to the writ petition, within a period of four weeks from today, in accordance with law.
