Kandpal, Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioners have sought quashing of FIR No. 257 of 2021, registered against them under Sections 323, 504, 506, 498-A IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, at Police Station Bahadrabad, District Haridwar. 4. Learned State Counsel, on instructions submits that, on 26.02.2023, final/closure report has been filed by Investigating Officer, as evidence collected during investigation was not found sufficient to proceed against petitioners. Thus, he submits that the writ petition has become infructuous. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners also makes the similar statement. 6. After filing of closure report, nothing survives in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
