JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER 17.03 .2025 None appears for the petitioner on call. Mr. J. K. Goswami, learned Government Advocate represents the respondents. Mr. J.K. Goswami submits that the prayer in the writ petition is seeking a direction for completing the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner within a period of three months. Pursuant to issuance of notice the Department proceeded with the disciplinary proceedings that had been initiated, and the said proceedings have been completed with the punishment of dismissal being imposed on the writ petitioner. He has placed a copy of the communication enclosing the order of dismissal issued by the disciplinary authority on the basis of the enquiry conducted. Having perused the communication placed before the Court, it is seen that the Office of the Commandant, Battalion Training Centre, Assam, Dergaon as the disciplinary authority by order dated 27.006.2023 has accepted the findings of the Enquiry Officer and is imposed punishment of dismissal from the service of the Charge Officer, S.I.(UB) Nipu Kalita of BTC i.e. the petitioner herein. In that view of the matter no further cause is alive in the present writ Page No.# 3/3 petition, notwithstanding the learned counsel for the petitioner is not being present. Keeping in view the prayers made in the writ petition, this writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous. Interim order, if any, stands disposed of.
