No.618 of 2025. 2. This case is registered for alleged offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 120B, 324, 326, 307 of the Indian Penal Code. The incident is occurred on 01.03.1999. The mother's case in S.C.No.39 of 2008 is proceeded further and resulted in an acquittal. The grounds for acquittal also apply to the present accused. Considering the factual matrix, the context of the case, the background of the accused, the reason for his absence at his place of residence, and the submission made that, despite best efforts, the warrant could not be executed, it is clear that even if the accused faces trial, no useful purpose would be served. 3. Accordingly, the case in P.R.C.No.100004 of 2008 of Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Jayamkondam Taluk, Ariyalur, stands quashed.
