This is a Contempt Petition filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for his willful and intentional disobedience of the judgment dated 02.07.2024 (Annexure P-1) passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court.

Learned counsel for the respondent-University has submitted that a detailed calculation of the amount which is due to to the petitioner has already been done and statement regarding the same along with forwarding letter from the Comptroller, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar is handed over to this Court during the course of arguments which is taken on PAWAN KUMAR 2025.09.23 09:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
COCP-4171-2025 [2] record and marked as Mark “C”. It is submitted that as per the said calculation, total amount which is to be paid by the respondent to the petitioner is Rs.6,32,503/-. It is further submitted that the University has issued necessary instructions vide letter dated 20.09.2025 to the State Bank of India, HAU Branch, Hisar to release the said money and same would be released to the petitioner within a period of five days from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there are certain aspects of the calculation which the petitioner wishes to challenge and thus, submits that the present contempt petition be disposed of but liberty be granted to the petitioner to challenge the abovesaid calculation in accordance with law. It is further submitted that as far as release of money is concerned, respondent would be bound by the statement made before this Court.
4. Keeping in view the above said facts and circumstances, the present contempt petition is disposed of. Respondent would be bound by the statement made before this Court.
