Learned counsel appearing for the respondents fairly submits that the Order/Judgment dated 7th February, 2025, passed by the learned Writ Court in WP(C) No. 2914/2023 stands complied with in its letter and spirit. He further submits that respondents 2 and 4 have already transferred an amount of Rs. 19,46,391/- to the account of the petitioner on 18th May, 2026, which is evident from the receipt of the Drawing and Disbursing Officer produced by learned counsel for the respondents, photocopy of which is taken on record. Learned counsel also produced a photocopy of cheque for an amount of Rs. 9,03,285/- payable to the petitioner which is interest part accrued on the principal amount as directed by the learned Writ Court and the same stands paid to the learned counsel for the petitioner by way of cheque mentioned supra. Photocopy of cheque produced by learned counsel for the respondents is also taken on record. 02. 02. In the aforesaid backdrop, learned counsel for the respondents submits that whatever amount was to be paid to the petitioner, has been paid to him in toto including the interest part accrued on the principal amount. 03. 03. Since the Order/Judgment of the learned court stands complied in its letter and spirit in the light of aforesaid development, nothing remains further to be adjudicated upon in the instant contempt petition.
